SNC1W — Science
SNC1W tutoring in Glen Abbey, Oakville, Ontario — small groups of no more than 6, twice a week, taught by one instructor. Ontario, AP, and IB.
What it covers
Biology (ecosystems and sustainability), chemistry (atoms, elements, and the periodic table), physics (electrical energy), and earth and space science (space exploration).
Where students get stuck
Chemistry vocabulary and the first real formulas. Building the habit of showing full work now makes the Grade 10 science course much easier.
How tutoring SNC1W works
We start from where the student actually is, not where the syllabus says they should be: check what class is covering, teach the fundamental underneath the trouble, and work problems at the right level until it holds. Between sessions, students message me when they're stuck on homework or prepping for a test.
