SNC2D — Science
SNC2D tutoring in Glen Abbey, Oakville, Ontario — small groups of no more than 6, twice a week, taught by one instructor. Ontario, AP, and IB.
What it covers
Biology (tissues, organs, and systems), chemistry (chemical reactions), physics (light and geometric optics), and earth and space science (climate change).
Where students get stuck
The chemistry unit — balancing equations and the mole concept — and the math in the optics unit. This is where a lot of students decide whether science is for them.
How tutoring SNC2D works
We start from where the student actually is, not where the syllabus says they should be: check what class is covering, teach the fundamental underneath the trouble, and work problems at the right level until it holds. Between sessions, students message me when they're stuck on homework or prepping for a test.
